Snode Prayer Letter – July 7, 2015

Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,

We started the month with a few friends from the UK and US coming to help us with outreach and to do some work on the church building. During the week of outreach, we distributed about 3000 invitations and had a Free Community BBQ. It went very well and we had nearly 70 people come through the church doors with over half being new people from the local area.

Since the BBQ, one young person has started to attend the Sunday school. She has never been to Sunday school, so it is exciting to see her come to hear God’s Word. Please pray for her and for others like her who live within walking distance of the church and need the gospel.

We are continuing to see steady growth in the number of people regularly attending the church.  Last month, we averaged 23 local people attending (not counting our family). Please pray for wisdom as we seek to encourage and disciple those that God sends to the church.

Also, please pray for God to raise up young men that we can disciple and train for the ministry. Our priority is not just to plant churches but to train men for ministry. We are hoping by September that we might have some people interested in attending a Bible institute.

God continues to bless the church we started in Northern Ireland. More temporary support has come in for Pastor James. Also, we are seeking to start raising funds to buy them their own building. Our goal is $75,000 (£50,000), so please consider giving a special donation to help with this project. You can find more info about these projects at:  www.intoalltheworld.net/donate.

We have a busy summer planned with our Holiday Bible Club (VBS) on July 21-23, Youth Camp on August 3-7, Youth Outreach Week on August 18-22, and Men’s Camping Trip on August 27-29. We would appreciate your prayers for all of these events.

Thank you so much for all you do. We feel so honoured and blessed to represent you and your church here in the UK.
