No Hope in North Korea

Today, the eyes of the world are on North Korea with the passing of their leader Kim Jong Il.  My heart broke as I watched a slideshow of pictures of the North Koreans mourning over their leaders death, knowing that most of them have no hope.

The vast majority of the North Koreans do not believe in Jesus Christ and probably have never heard the gospel clearly. We need to pray that with the change of leadership in this country the doors will be more open for the gospel.  We also need to pray for boldness for those who are going into this country with the gospel and for those Christians already there.

They are sorrowing as those who have no hope.  We who know Jesus can sorrow but we have hope and confidence that death is not the end for a believer in Christ; it is only the beginning.  Will you pray for God to send forth laborers to this country?
