Overcoming Obstacles – Day 15 of 31 Days of Prayer for Northwest Baptist Church Building Fund
Planting a new church is both exciting and challenging. New churches must work at overcoming obstacles on a regular basis. Some of those obstacles can be regarding funds, people, buildings, community perceptions, etc.
Northwest Baptist Church has been blessed over the years with several different places to meet. Currently, the church meets in some rented rooms above an insurance shop in the main city centre.
The central location of the rooms is very beneficial as they are accessible to most people in the city and provide good visibility. The difficulty of the location is that it can be challenging to find parking and the rooms are located up a long flight of stairs that can prohibit some people from attending the services.
We are hoping that a new building will be located in a place where there is a ground floor meeting room and improved parking facilities.
