Mission Trip to Northern Ireland: 10-14 April 2017

This Spring, Downham Baptist Church is taking a mission trip to the city of Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Derry is a city of over 100,000 people with few evangelical churches. It has a rich history yet one that has been impacted by division and trouble over the years. We are excited to share the gospel and help people in this beautiful city find peace with God. As a family, we are especially excited to be returning to a place where we lived and ministered from 2004-2013!

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

It will be a busy, but exciting, week as we will be working with Northwest Baptist Church, helping with outreach, learning about the city and maybe helping with some practical things around the church. We will be able to fellowship with the believers there and learn about the culture. We will have an opportunity to learn about the history of the city of Derry by taking a few tours, visiting historic sites and seeing how the city has changed and continues to grow.

We will be leaving on the Monday morning, 10th April and flying to Northern Ireland, returning on the Friday evening, 14th April.
