Let All Your Things Be Done With Charity – 1 Corinthians 16
‘Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity.’ — 1 Corinthians 16:13–14
As Paul closed out His letter to the Corinthians, in which he addresses many problems they had, He reminded them to be strong and to do everything with charity.
The Christian life requires courage to be watchful, to stand against that which would move us from the faith, to act like men, and to be strong. At the same time, it requires love. Every stand, no matter how fierce the opposition or how much courage needed also requires love.
So, let us evaluate areas of our live where we are not being watchful, we are not taking the right stands, or we are not being strong enough. And let us consider whether we are doing everything with charity.
