The Challenges in Europe (6 of 6) Survey of European Missionaries

Thank you for taking the time to read this series of posts on the challenges in Europe.  I would love to hear your thoughts about this topic.  I am sure there is much I have missed or failed to explain well.  Please give me your comments.

This final post is basically an introduction to a survey of European missionaries which I conducted in preparation for a workshop at the Our Generation Summit in December 2012.  I surveyed several church leaders in Europe and asked them what challenges they face in Europe.  Their names and exact locations are not included, but their responses have been compiled for you to read and learn from.

Purpose of These Articles

Of course, each country will have its own unique challenges, but hopefully, this report and this series of posts will help you in the following ways:

  • Motivate you to proper training and preparation before you come to Europe as a missionary.  If you are looking for a great place to train, may I suggest the Our Generation Training Center.
  • Help you to pray more intelligently and specifically for your missionaries.
  • Cause you to consider ways to overcome the challenges and obstacles missionaries face on the field.
