January 2026 Update

Thank you for praying for the “Preview Day” we hosted at Vision Baptist Missions in November. Several visitors attended who are interested in training at Vision School of Missions (VSM), taking an internship, or serving in missions long-term. If you’re interested in missions, we would love to help you take your next step. Join us for our next Preview Day on March 27, 2026. (visionmissions.com/visit)

Preview Day at Vision Baptist Missions

The 2025 VBM Global Impact results are out! Each year, we ask our missionaries for key numbers of how the Lord has blessed. We know that success in the ministry is based on faithfulness and obedience, but we do want to rejoice in the fruit that the Lord gave last year through our missionaries: 15 churches started, 25 pastors and leaders trained, 573 believers baptized, 575 individuals discipled, and 2,700 professions of faith! To God be the glory; great things He has done!

This year, we are emphasizing missionary care and coaching. This month, we launched a Member Care Best Practice guide. The guide details how VBM provides member care and offers suggestions to sending churches for supporting their missionaries spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and practically. In addition, we plan to host regular online coaching sessions to discuss key issues of missionary life and ministry. Please pray for wisdom as we seek to care and encourage missionaries.

Honoring some VSM instructors at Christmas

In addition, please pray for the following:

  • The thirteen VSM students with five preparing for internships in the summer.
  • The fourteen VSM instructors who volunteer their time to teach our students.
  • The 94 VBM missionaries serving around the world as they seek to plant churches in the midst of many financial, geopolitical, and spiritual challenges.
  • Several young couples who are considering applying as missionaries this year.
  • Wisdom as we lead the VBM home office staff. January and February are especially busy months as we close out end of year tax documents and undergo our annual financial audit.

First Chapel Service of Spring Semester

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support this past year. Though we very much miss serving on the mission field, we are grateful for the opportunity to help train and support our amazing team of missionaries serving around the world. We firmly believe that your investment in our ministry is helping to advance the gospel around the world.
