Mission Trip to Northern Ireland: 10-14 April 2017

This Spring, Downham Baptist Church is taking a mission trip to the city of Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Derry is a city of over 100,000 people with few evangelical churches. It has a rich history yet one that has been impacted by division and trouble over the years. We are excited to share the gospel and help people in this beautiful city find peace with God. As a family, we are especially excited to be returning to a place where we lived and ministered from 2004-2013!

It will be a busy, but exciting, week as we will be working with Northwest Baptist Church, helping with outreach, learning about the city and maybe helping with some practical things around the church. We will be able to fellowship with the believers there and learn about the culture. We will have an opportunity to learn about the history of the city of Derry by taking a few tours, visiting historic sites and seeing how the city has changed and continues to grow.

We will be leaving on the Monday morning, 10th April and flying to Northern Ireland, returning on the Friday evening, 14th April. The total cost for the trip is £300 per person, this will include everything for the trip i.e. flight from London, lodging, food, transport. (If you prefer to join us in Belfast, you can arrange your own flight and the cost of your trip would be only £200.)

If you wish to take part in the trip, you need to complete an application form and turn in your £100 deposit by 15th February. The remaining £200 needs to be given in by 31st March. If you are under 18 and wish to participate without an accompanying parent or guardian, please ensure they have signed the application form.

If you are interested in coming on the trip with us, please comment below or email us at tsnode@gmail.com, and we will send you a registration form or download the form here.
