Snode Ministry Update – April 29, 2013
UPDATE
We have had such a good time at the churches we have been to recently. We are so blessed to have such generous and kind friends who are committed to helping us get to the field and reach souls for Christ.
- Monday and Tuesday, we were in Wooster, Ohio at a missions conference at North Pointe Baptist Church. It was a blessing to spend time with my brother Harley and his family, as well as the other missionaries. The Lord is doing a great work through Pastor Harley Snode.
- Wednesday, we drove up to Calvary Baptist Church in Granville. This church has faithfully supported us for nine years. It was a blessing to see these faithful folks and see how God is using Pastor Randy McKee. The church was extremely kind and generous to us.
- Thursday, we drove through the beautiful Adirondack state park on our way to First Baptist Church of Parishville, NY. This church is pastor by Andy Reese, a friend from Bible College. It was great to spend time with him, his brother Terry, the Jonathan Marks family to Japan, Burton Gates a church planter to Philadelphia, and all the folks of the church. We had such great time there.
- Sunday afternoon, we drove to Black River, NY to be a part of the evening service at First Baptist Church. It was a blessing to be there, and we really enjoyed the service. After the service, we drove to Buffalo, NY.
PRAISES
- Safety as we have travelled.
- The opportunities to present our ministry.
- The Lord’s provision for our set up/moving expenses coming up in just a few months.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- For the youth camp and evangelistic meeting coming up this summer at Northwest Baptist Church in Derry.
- For God to help us raise an additional 17% of our support as we are in the States.
- For wisdom as I plan my trip to London and Northern Ireland on May 13-24.
- For God to open doors for us in London and guide us to the are where He wants us to go.
- For safety as we travel this next week.
- For God’s provision for several special projects.
