July 2012 Prayer Letter from Travis Snode

Church in Scotland turned into “Sin” Nightclub

Dear Pastors & Praying Friends,

The month of June started with our UK Vision Tour.  The trip was designed to make people aware of the need in the UK and Ireland, to give them a vision for the work, and to raise up laborers for the harvest.

Missionary Chris Waye and I hosted the trip.  Heather Trojahn was a big help with the planning of the trip.  We had a total of 12 people on the trip, and we travelled to Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland seeing the need, helping various churches, and learning about many great Christians from the past such as William Carey, John Bunyan, George Mueller, and David Livingston.

Last Sunday, Missionary to South Africa Paul Craig from Northern Ireland presented his ministry to our church.  He and his family have been serving there for 22 years.  We were also blessed to have the Carey Hendricks family visiting our church.  Pray for them as they are making preparations to plant a church in Carrick-on-Shannon, which is a couple hours south of us in the Republic of Ireland.

This Sunday, we have Pastor Tony Howeth from Covington, GA preaching for us and a youth choir from Temple Baptist Church in Flower Mound, TX with us.  Because of the extra people, we will be meeting at the City Hotel, in the very same room where we held our first meeting in Derry nearly eight years ago.  It will be exciting to see how God has grown and blessed the church since then.

This week, we start our teen camp.  Please pray for the workers and young people who are going with us.  Pray for God to save souls and work in a powerful way in the lives of the young people.

Thank you for your support and prayers.  God has provided in a great way.  We still lack about $1280 for our July evangelistic meeting.  Also, if you would like to have us come by your church during our furlough, just go to www.intoalltheworld.net/furlough-schedule for more info.
