May 2026 Update
The spring semester at Vision School of Missions (VSM) is officially complete, and our students are out for the summer. We have had the privilege of walking alongside many of them for the past three years as they have studied, grown, and prepared for ministry. Please pray especially for those beginning internships this summer, including our son, Grant, who will be serving in Burkina Faso. Pray also for students transferring into other ministry opportunities, and for those returning in the fall, including our daughter, Darci.
We enjoyed visits this month from prospective students, interns, and missionaries. Please pray for our fall enrollment. The VSM fall semester begins on August 17, and we are excited about another year of Bible, missions, ministry, theology, and teaching courses. We are also thankful that Pastor Bill Schneider from Fellowship Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, has recently moved to Georgia to join our faculty team. His more than thirty years of pastoral experience will bring great value and wisdom to our students.
Vision Baptist Missions recently added a new helps missionary to South Africa, Emilee Coffey. Emilee is a graduate of VSM and has faithfully served on our Home Office staff over the past two years. Please pray for her as she begins deputation and for the transition as her replacement starts serving in the Home Office this month.
In addition to a week away together as a family, this summer holds a missions trip to Asia for Darci, a missions trip to New York City for Cali, and a road trip with Grant before he heads out to Burkina Faso in September. Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our children as they follow the Lord’s leading and grow in their walk with Christ. The Lord has been very good to our family.
