St. Patrick’s Day Resources
Today is St. Patrick’s Day. March 17 was made an annual feast day in the early seventeenth century and has become a celebration of Irish Culture in general. Though much of what is associated with Patrick is not really true, he is one of my favourite Christians of all time. Patrick was a born again believer in Jesus Christ. He was not Protestant or Catholic, but was a missionary sent out by the ancient Christian church. He was a true believer, a Bible preacher, and believed in believer’s baptism. As a result of his ministry, thousands of converts were baptized, hundreds of churches were started, missionaries were sent out, and many kings were saved. Ireland changed from primarily a place of pagan worship to a centre of Christianity, largely through the influence of Patrick. Attached are a few resources that you might like to read or use this St. Patrick’s Day.
