We had a fantastic Family Christmas Service and Meal this past Sunday morning. Over 70 people were in attendance with at least 10 first-time visitors. We were amazed at everyone who came and how many people invited friends and family. Please pray for the gospel message to bear fruit.
Tonight, we have a Christmas Eve service at 6pm and tomorrow we have a Christmas Day service at 11.30am. Please pray for these service and for God to work in hearts. Tonight I am preaching on “God With Us” from Matthew 1:18-25.
I spent quite a few hours this week helping a man from our church who has been illegally evicted from his flat. We finally manage to find him somewhere to stay late last night. Working with him reminded me that this time of year though one of great joy for many is also a time of sadness and loneliness for others. The wonderful thing is that no matter our circumstances, we can have joy if we know Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. He came to save us from our sins and to be with us forever.
I was to meet up with a man from Bromley who had questions about the gospel this week, but it did not work out. Hopefully, he will get back in touch and we can arrange something else. Please pray about that.
Happy Christmas to all of you! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support of our ministry. As we look back over this year, we feel incredibly blessed with all that God has done and for all the wonderful friends God has given us around the world.
